My struggle with emotional eating was REAL


Hi Reader,

If you find yourself struggling with emotional eating, and battling with your weight, know that you are not alone. I battled with emotional eating for a really long time.

I struggled with my weight, constantly trying to gain control over my food and have better willpower.

I remember comments from people, that I needed to lose weight, that I would be pretty if I could just shed the pounds.

This put me on a roller coaster ride of diets, which inevitably failed, one after the next.

I felt Big. I felt overweight. I felt like I wasn’t enough.

I was at war with my body, constantly restricting food and binging. Food was my only comfort, and no one knew because I hid it so well. On the outside I was fine, with my fake smile and all. On the inside, I was in emotional pain.

It got so bad that I realized I needed help.

I went to a counselor, looking for emotional relief. I went to my doctor looking for emotional relief.

Medication was the answer they said, you will feel better they said....

Well I started down that path, but with my passion of holistic health, I realized I was only focusing on the symptoms.

I wanted to understand more. I wanted to heal the actual ROOT CAUSE of my emotions and food relationships.

And that's when it all clicked for me.

Like for many of us, I realized the root cause of my emotional eating started in childhood.

As a little girl:

  • I never learned how to deal with negative emotions.
  • I experienced a lot of trauma being told to lose weight at such a young age, and called names due to my size, and was bullied.
  • I was taught to be good and please everyone else at my own expense.

My journey of healing, allowed me to become at peace, to embrace intuitive eating, and to trust myself completely around food. My journey helped me build trust with my body and my fullness cues. My journey also showed me I actually matter, and how it is ok to make myself a priority.

This journey was so powerful that I decided to dedicate my life to helping women find emotional balance, food freedom and feel confident in their bodies.

After years of schooling and experience as a licensed therapist, holistic health coach, and emotional eating coach, I learned how to help women heal on a deeper level. And thus the Emotional Eating Solutions program was born.
